Some people think, “If I just stop eating completely I will lose weight faster”. This statement is not entirely true. While yes you will lose water gain and some weight, it is not healthy. Your body needs food to run efficiently. Think of food being like gas for your car. Without gas, your car will not run. Without food, your body does not run. Cutting back too drastically will affect most bodily functions including your metabolism, brain functions, and energy levels.
Diet smarter by counting calories and eating smaller portions at least 6 times each day. By eating more often you are letting your body know that you are not trying to starve it! You should also be drinking plenty of water too. Water hydrates your body and makes you feel fuller. Drinking ice cold water helps even more since your body has to work harder to increase your body temperature when you drink it.
